Adcal D3 is a chewable tablet which provides the body with calcium and vitamin D. It contains calcium carbonate and vitamin D in the form of coleciferol. These are essential for maintaining healthy bones and teeth. Adcal D3 can therefore be prescribed to those who suffer from osteoporosis or osteomalcia. It can also provide a supplement for people with specific dietary needs, such as pregnant women or the elderly. Calcium, most often found in dairy, nuts and spinach, is essential for the body to form and sustain healthy bones. You may require more calcium than is provided during periods of growth or during pregnancy. Also, as you age, you will require a higher intake of calcium to prevent bone loss or fractures due to conditions such as osteoporosis. Adcal D3 is an effective and simple supplement to prevent calcium deficiency. Adcal D3 also contains vitamin D₃. The body requires vitamin D in order to properly absorb calcium. Vitamin D deficiency will therefore lead to calcium deficiency. Weakened bones due to vitamin D deficiency is called osteomalcia. Vitamin D is otherwise obtained directly from sunlight or from dairy or fish products.

How to use it

Anyone over the age of 12 can take Adcal D3.

Take two tablets per day. If possible, have one in the morning and one at night. This is a chewable tablet, which should not be swallowed whole.

Genuine product with good expiry dates. Only things was the length of time for delivery, which I think was down to the courier service use
